school is coming up!

So many things have passed by! We went to Chicago and had a fun time! The fair was really busy with my queen pageant and mom's surprise party (i bought a cake and everything). My sweater was just dropped off to go to state again! Time tends to fly right by! School is in a few weeks. I got a sturdy job. Made new friends this summer. Life is such a blessing!

Summer

This summer is going to be busy! As a teenager, we ususally do nothing, but boy! are we going to be busy! Haley is little miss social with all of her activities. Camp Iwannaknit was last weekend and sure was it fun! i did coffee runs for the ladies with my one month driver's license. Mongo is paying our drama club 6,000 dollars to canoe and talk to travlers as pirates! we are going to have so much fun! I have purdue this week, and then relay for life after i get home. I am running for Miss LaGrange County. YAY! Other than that, we are lazy teenagers. lol. Have a good summer!

I thought it was SPRING!

Dad's first day back and there's snow!!!!!!!!!!! We have a 2 hour delay and a tree down near our house. It's a heavy snow. My birthday also went well. I got mario kart and a camera and a memorystick. Everyone won't stop playing it. So everything is fine and dandy. Trent is getting married in October. Haley and I are bridemaids. It's going to be exciting!

March is ending.

Well, life has been going good. My chemistry grade is back up!!!! I had a rough spring break so far. I'm so sore from gym class on friday and working at Maple Syrup Days. My feet hurt. Dad is going to physical therapy. He finished his blanket already. It's in the store (i rather have it home, so i can have it. lol.). Trent is engaged to Lukinda. Haley.... i have nothing usually to say about her. she's herself.
A week.....and i turn 16. woo-hoo. i'm not sure on what emotion to have about it. mom and dad are planning to have cake and ice cream on sunday (not really happy about it) since i'm goin to T-Bell with Trent. Luke is planning something.....Oh, and my bithrday is on a school day. I should be thrilled, yet i'm not. i'm not sure what i want right now, but it is goin to be a surprise?
idk. i'll find out.

February to March

Hey, everyone! Wow. February was such a great time. I was in a reading competition. I was the top from day one to the end. Today, we pied teachers in the face, and I chose Hammel. It was great. Since I was the top reader with 6, 300 some pages , I won an ipod nano and got taco bell coupons. YUMMY!

What also happened lately was semi-formal. I went with my best friends: Morgan, Makenna, and Kaela. We all went to Applebees and wore masks. Mom made me a shrug to wear to the restaurant. It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!! Kenna taught me how to do the "thriller dance" and i made u some pretty awesome dance moves. It was great. Everything is going great for my sophomore year. February was amazingexcept for one thing.... my chemistry grade. I guess I should have stopped reading in class for the challenge.

January 16th....very surprising.

Trent is 20 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAY!!!!!!!! Anyways, parents are gone in california right now so....we got the house to ourselves. They called us last night and said they opend their window in the hotel. The bad thing about them gone is.....
yesterday, our pipes froze. everyone. i could not take a shwoer, so i called the neighbors and got a shower over there.
today, power went out for like 30 yesterday. Around 1, the power went off. Trent woke me up at 4 something saying powers out and i should make a fire. So i did. It was very successful fire. Haley came down around six. Power still out. My alarm clock started going off then we heard the printer. Power back on!!!!!!!!!! It's still 48 degrees in the house. When power came on, lights around the lake went on also. I checked on the neighbors.
Anyways, the weather report now is that if you go outside without being completely covered...your skin will freeze. All the schools are closed around our county. The semester started yesterday...woo hoo. i have a class with people that i wish i ddin't, but it's a challenge and i'm a nice person so....
This is the start of Trent's b-day. His girlfriend is making a cake so i don't have to. Like usual, we are going to eat lasanga fo his birthday and no candles in it. lol. we got him something....lukinda helped buy it cause haley was being stubborn. It's a gift from the girls so....
Plus, we did get groceries yesterday. so we have food. Lukinda came shopping with us. We both realized not to take trent shopping with us. holy cow!

Did you guys here? about the little boy? Do you remember the Christmas story when they Double dogged dared him to stick his tongue to a pole??? well, only a hoosier will do this. A little boy (a 4th grader) got dared and stuck his tongue on a pole and it was about 10 degrees! It happened in the hometown of the actual author. He got his tongue off the pole before the fire department came. The mom wanted them to stop the bleeding. wow. that must have hurt!

A New Start.......going rough.

Guess what? Dad broke his ankle. He slipped on ice during work. We are happy it wasn't that bad. It could have been worse. So now he is on crutches walking around barely. It's sad to see him so immovable because he is always up and about. I was really upset when i found out. I went to school and cried for half of the day. I told my closest friends and the prayer group at lunch about it. Later on, they cheered me up. Oh yeah, dad broke the railing. hahaha. it was an accident. It has served us well, so goodbye.

It is a winter storm!!!!!!!!!! Not kidding!!!!!!!!!! THEY CANCELLED SEMI-FORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the one thing we were all looking for. I am not sure if we are having it next week or not. Mom and dad still plan on going to California. Dad will be in a scooter (poor thing. it's sad. just imagine.). So life is not so working out but we are getting through.

The New Year has just begun..

Hey, everyone! How is your winter break??? Ours is amazing!!!! We got a new laptop and a wii. We just got DDR 2 yesterday! We'll be dancing so much!?!??! The snow has melted a bit but comes back then melts again. Dad is getting very far on his blanket he is knitting. My sweater may be done soon =D. We did get my Semi-formal dress for $15.oo at Macy's. I think it's cute =D. We've been not very busy (well, at least haley and I haven't). I had a friend over. She brought Guitar Hero III. Mom was rocking out!!!!!!!! dad was bad.... so was I for awhile but then i got the hang of it. For your guys enjoyment, here is a video of me trying to help dad in DDR 2:

Birthday!

Hey, It's dad's b-day! the Big 44. We went out to see the new James Bond movie. It was great. At first he didn't want to go out at all because of the snow we got yesterday....but he said it was worth it. On our way to the movie, i saw VW Bugs and slugged everyone. I got slugged back during the movie because of the bug in the movie. hahahaha. Going home, we passed an ice fishing hole. we saw about 3 trucks. Got closer and looked over the ice and saw like 30 people!!!! and more trucks on the side of the road. We were laughing so hard.

Great Starting for the Summer

It is all bright a green up here in Northen Indiana. I absolutely love it!I can get out and relax around. Grandma Smiley, Joe, Johnathon, and Daniel are coming up for Justine's grad party. We are traveling together. I am missing driving to go there. i can make it up. We only have like two days of being in class for driver's ed, but we already started driving. Haley and I get out of school on June 2nd. And i am of to CIY for a week after. SO it's going to be CRAZY! We are having lights installed by the one and only TOM! I am excited now for so many things.... life is starting to sprout out.oh yeah, i finished knitting my skirt. i put elastic in it and i need to sew up the insides and it could be worn! so exicted. Oh, did i tell you guys that i have glasses now?!?!?! well, here is a pic for you guys! talk to you guys later!

Okay, my birthday was a success!On sunday we kept getting phones calls from the same people, but all of them got there (donnie was late). We watched I Am Legend. They kept trying to make me jump. We also had Gabrielle over,too. We had fun playing apples to apples. Just it was a blast having all of them over.Me being fifteen does not feel any different so....what to do?i started a Media Arts class needing a 35 mm camera. I went out w/ a couple girls today w/ our cameras and took pics at the school farm. i think we all got great shots. I hope evreyday is like that when it does not rain =].love you all!-tara lea

So, no one is fishing because it is thin and black on Pretty Lake . . . but here's the catch on Lake James . . . yep, almost a 5 gallon bucket of crappy. How long do you think it'll take to clean them? Start time is 8:30pm.

life is going great. nothing wrong up here. we had a winter storm but it was okay. nothing major really to my eyes.
school (i think)is going great for haley and me.
i missed three days of school and i am behind in English still.
Shakespeare report. it makes no sense kinda for me on writing it. my birthday is coming quick (march 30). i am not sure what i am doing...it's on a sunday but i have a lot on that day. no time to celebrate and have friends over. i hope the XBOX gets fixed so i can play games if i do have my friends over(hopefully dad will let me have my guy friends over cuz really it is only guys and they ROCK!)and i am dieing to play our games! i might have a movie marathon... i have seen so many movies last year that i love! pretty much everyone has been sick. i haven't paid much attention because i have lot of homework with two honors classes and being behind really puts a hole in everything. which reminds me... i have to do my english so i can get caught up. and my grammar and everything is horrible in this piece (lol).
